This first tour is dedicated to travellers that have a couple of night to spend. It gives an idea of Chianti's flavours and colours tasting local wine and food during a fast but deep immersion into this land at Villa Vignamaggio (or in a similar farm) with its wonderful Italian garden and the production of precious wine and olive oil.
Villa Vignamaggio, surrounded by an elegant Italian garden, is settled into the most typical Chianti's landscape among olive trees and vineyard. This mansion is a wonderful example of Renaissance art; as a matter of fact it was made by Gherardini's the noble family which the renewed Monna Lisa belonged to, portrayed in the Leonardo Da Vinci's most famous painting: the Gioconda. On the background of this canvas you can admire the same landscape that one could see from.
Nowadays you can see vineyards, cellars, barrels, paintings, tapestries and halberds witnessing that glorious past. Today in Villa Vignamaggio at the same time you can see the production of precious wine and oil and admire the Italian garden and the ancient rooms.
