The territory of Greve in Chianti confirms its leading position within the Chianti Classico, as to the quality of wine production. Leadership culminating in "The wines of Italy 2013", the prestigious guide published by "L'Espresso" which lists the best companies and the best products. According to strict parameters of quality, productivity, cost.

Are 112 throughout the Chianti Classico wine companies reported on driving, for a total of 342 wines. A good result for the entire historical production area between the provinces of Florence and Siena (Greve in Chianti, Barberino Val d'Elsa, San Casciano, Tavarnelle, Castelnuovo Berardenga, Gaiole and Castellina in Chianti), which sees shine far from Greve in Chianti territory with 27 companies (24.1% of the total) and 76 wines (22.2% of the total).
