Station Square: PASSOGIGANTE (21.30) - A mix of funk, black music and sounds from overseas. The
funky groove of tradition, the Florentine group combines electronic
elements, aggressive synths, horns and sharp text worthy of the heritage
songwriting. Present their fifth album, "Tuttialbuio."

POPSICLE (22.30) - tiratissimo quintet Florentine centrifuge the best
lessons Strokes, The Kooks, Artic Monkeys and Maximo Park ... Rock

SUBSONICA
(24 hours) - The Turin band had announced a few weeks ago with the
retirement from acting to concentrate on the new live album. But for the Florentine New Year will make an exception. It
will also be the exceptional concert Samuel, Max, Boost, Ninja and
Vicio propose in Piazza della Stazione, a true "best" which will trace
the successes ringed three decades of activity. After
nearly two years on the road Subsonica was concluded in the autumn, the
long tour that followed the exit of Eden, the sixth album reached
platinum status and has led the group to play not only in Italy, but also in the U.S., China and Europe. 400.0000
spectators, more than 80 concerts ... The world spins and Subsonica
Subsonica travel the world, sending the sold-out club in London, Paris
and Barcelona, after having conquered the audience in New York, Los
Angeles and Miami. Not to mention the two overwhelming performances in Beijing and Shanghai. The Turin group celebrated its fifteenth anniversary with the tour "Snapshots". Now, Florence!

Santissima Annunziata: NEW YORK GOSPEL SPIRIT (at 22) - The performance
of the New York Spirit Gospel is not just a concert: a journey in the
style and spirit of gospel music, with particular attention to its
theatrical and choreographic developments. Each
artist is on stage to tell us his story, his way of expressing the
gospel: a mix of music, acting, improvisation and drama that catapults
the audience directly on Broadway. On stage five musicians and singers seven artists who have traveled all over the world, in the most successful teams. Two hours of music to drag the audience into a whirlwind of fun, just like the rhythms and sounds of gospel are able to create. The
evening opens training Florentine FOR JOY GOSPEL CHOIR (in
collaboration with Lucrezia's One Voice) composed of young performers
and musicians that perform in the gospel a harmonious fusion of
different musical experiences. A
dynamic and engaging show that, starting from the songs of tradition,
focuses on contemporary gospel to the accompaniment of piano, hammond
organ, bass, drums and guitar. The
choir has shared alongside professionals such as Richard Smallwood, Bob
Singleton, Trini Massie, the Rev. Keith Moncrief and Pastor Ron
Hubbard. For the Joy Gospel Choir has always collaborated with associations and foundations to contribute to research projects.

della Repubblica: Nick The Nightfly QUINTET (at 22) - Nick The Nightfly
is known for his radio program of new music and trends which introduced
in Italy twenty years ago and still leading, "Monte Carlo Nights" ( on Radio Monte Carlo), but is also an accomplished singer, plays guitar and composes pieces of great artistic value. With the Nightfly Quintet presents itself as a vocalist offering classic swing and soul, from Otis Redding to Quincy Jones. At
his side Amedeo Ariano on drums, Claudio Colasazza floor, Jerry Popolo
on sax, Francesco Puglisi on bass, Andrea De Balsi on guitar.

Largo - St. Ambrose NEW YEARS'S WOODSTOCK - 1969/1994/1999 (at 22) -
Six hours of non-stop music and pictures up to four in the morning, for
an event in the spirit of Woodstock that starts with the famous Hendrix
version American
anthem, reworked in electronic key Tuzzy Dj, producer and sound
designer, already beside Subsonica, Asian Dub Foundation, Casino Royale.
Guests of the evening also the Italian-Brazilian singer and visual artist Rayna Jamaica De Marco. The
most well-known songs of Woodstock will be reproduced with the sounds
of our time: from drum'n'bass to dubstep, house music, with lots of
funky. Janis Joplin, Joe Cocker will dance until dawn: One more night of Peace & Music. Largo
Annigoni will be the only open space of the Florentine New Year with
music and drinks until late at night: it will be possible to eat and
drink with the Hog Farm Bar, in the spirit of the legendary community
that could feed 500 thousand in Woodstock ' 69. The food court will be in operation from 10 am.

GIUSEPPE LANZETTA (23 hours) - Waltzes and polkas of Viennese tradition
