Falling stars have always attracted human imagination. An italian legend says that the falling stars are San Lorenzo’s tears, shed when he was tortured. According to the legend his tears have been set for rambling through the sky forever and falling on the Earth only on the night of San Lorenzo: on August 10th. In piazza Matteotti in Greve in Chianti “Calici di stelle” takes place to admire falling stars and taste Chianti wine of the best local wine cellars. Don’t forget to make your wish between a taste and a drink! Last advice: Don’t tell anybody about your wish otherwise it doesn't come true...
