The castle of Montefioralle enclosed within its original walls has an ancient history. This village has been known since the Etruscan age and it is certainly one of the most ancient of the Chianti region. This middle age village welcomes a special edition of the night market “Stelle e Mercanti”on July 8th from 6 PM to 11 PM: That's a good chance for a nice walk along antique dealers and handicraftsmen stands, made more attractive by food and wine tastings; you can also wander about the lovely alleys of this small village to admire the hillside of Chianti under the moonlight.
