On May 16^th, the fifth edition of the national festival of old scales and slicers will take place in Greve in Chianti. A number of slicers and scales, from the valuable Berkel’s "Centenarie” and “Imperiali”, dear to collectors, to the old scales used by chemists, coalmen and corn dealers, will be exhibited, in the setting of Piazza Matteotti. You cannot miss these collectors fair that is also attractive to curious people who maybe get there to meet VIP, as Sting, Ligabue or Roberto Cavalli, whose attention is caught by this unique event. Moreover, to make it even better, the main farmers of the Chianti region and of the other Italian Slow Towns will set a tasting of local wine and food in piazza Matteotti.
